I'm Laura Eades. Drawing, writing, and sometimes also speaking words out loud keep my blood flowing in the right direction. I began my company, The Honourable Society of Faster Craftswomen, to collaborate with brilliant artists to make theatre, audio, and other artworks.
The 'society' is me. It's also all of the collaborators I'm lucky enough to stay up late with. And it's you, when you are our audience, or because you are reading this now.
Thanks for joining us. Scream if you wanna go faster!
The company was started in 2008. Holiday and Patchwork both played at Camden People's Theatre in 2011. Other Faster Craftswomen performance projects include the audio piece Whoa Mamma for Forest Fringe Travelling Sounds Library, and Yeah, I'm a Dog (development with support from Brick Box and Shunt).
