We used to be the faster craftswomen. Till we slowed down.

Whoa Mamma what a big topic! What a huge experience it is to have a mother.

My mother Sylvia lives like a hippie in the wilds of Devon, bakes extremely hearty bread and tries to put her unwholesome childhood behind her. She spends a year unravelling hundreds of little knitted squares her mother made, but died before she ever put together into a blanket.

I get exasperated with my mum; am unsure about her taste in trainers; and love her, of course.

Collaborators: Music by Kieron Maguire (The Paper Cinema/Cabinet of Living Cinema). With thanks to Sarah Cuddon, freelance radio producer, for her kind advice.

Yeah, I'm a Dog

Hello Disco. It seems you are a puppy and need to learn about how the world is whirling. A private experience of immersion in the sensation of being a dog.

Partners: The project has formed an audio installation for audience-members to listen to whilst scooting about on 'dog-trolleys' - custom-made floorlevel skateboards - at BAC (Freshly Scratched), Shunt, and Brick Box in Brixton Village market.
